We humans are having a hard time these days, not so much from enonomic meltdown (as is pounded into us every day on the news) but from the deeper cause of this pervasive, recessive societal dilemma. We are not doing what we came here to do, the doing that is connected to our deep and true selves.

I think about this a lot these days. I am troubled by my seeming lack of action in directions that I long ago determined were the right ones for me. Maybe I need a re-think more than a re-do.

I always find myself coming around by washing the dishes.

Rewriting the script...

Changing the daily burnout blip pattern to a trial pattern for Monday-Wednesday-Friday.
Giving my mind some space, my eyes a rest from the computer screen, and inviting moments for full body movement and whatever else wants to show up.

The burnout blips came as a response to acquire discipline in doing something everyday that required listening and sharing. Twitter was the vehicle and set the character limit. They expanded to this blog hub, with a connection to facebook several months ago. The first trial date was February 19, 2009. 

And every day since, a daily burnout blip has been shared...until now.

It's time to experience both the virtual forest and the real trees.

Contemplate your life. Winnow authentic stuff. Appreciate your perceptions. Creatively share what you notice. Do it again.

We have come here to harvest our lives, and be the harvest at the same time. Without some sifting, or winnowing, we won't be able to be nurtured and sustained.

Winnowing means to throw the whole shabang into the air, where the light weight stuff will be blown away, leaving the real food grain.

Now I realize that all this shifting of stuff in my home and creative space has just been a form of winnowing. I am liking where all the good stuff has been landing these days.
